Mission Accomplished!

Hooray,

We completed our Kitchen Re-do before the 4th of July fesitivities. I can hardly believe it only took about 3 weeks time.

It's that time of year again to start getting ready for Vacation Bible School, or as we affectionately refer to it as VBS.

I'm putting on my "Thinking Hat" to come up with a plan to make props needed for this years theme " High Seas Expedition".

Hope your summers is going great!

God Bless

Grouting 101

Grouting is the finishing touch that makes everything look professionally installed. We're quite happy with the way it looks. We began this morning and were finishing just in time to go to work!

Kitchen Backsplash, etc.

During the past couple of days my daughter and I have been working on a little (ha, ha) kitchen project.

At first it was to be a little bit of paint. Then it was to be a little hardware. In the end it will be paint, hardward (hinges, handles, etc.), and tile.

We put up tile on Wednesday, and I put some more up today before coming to work.

It's going to look very nice when it's all complete.

Just and FYI. My daughter said the DIY network was really good for something.

Hopefully I can get some pictures posted!

Mobile Welding Shop

On Sunday I was talking with my brother in law about how to modify his trailer for his son.

We were mulling over the idea of putting a welder with a generator over the axles of the trailer and putting small RV type doors on the side to pass through the welding torch and be able to make adjustments for the welder.

As we kept going with this thought we talked about making a small sleeping quarters in the rear of the trailer with A/C and other conveniences :0) (his son lives in Arizona).

Then one last idea came to me of putting an awning on the side of it with a welding table that you could be open and close too.

Just another DIY idea of mine.
